This is a free seminar organised by a kindred society relevant for Quality folks, the SA Regional Network Committee of the AES. Their seminar series provides an opportunity for you to meet with AES members and others in South Australia and to share and learn from the experiences of fellow evaluators.

SEMINAR OVERVIEW

Most evaluations involve an assessment of factors affecting implementation of a policy or program investment. Often these factors relate to broader cultural, performance or systems issues within an organisation and this can present a challenge for developing pragmatic and actionable recommendations.

Catriona Flavel will consider how organisational performance assessment and change management approaches can be relevant to evaluators in designing an evaluation process, undertaking research and developing practical recommendations. Through a series of case studies, the learning session will share ideas for using evaluation to influence internal change and explore how this affects the role of an evaluator. This learning session is relevant for evaluators, those that commission evaluations and also members of the Australian Quality organisation.
