Shilkin Award

Shilkin Award

Joe Shilkin was one of the pioneers of the Australian Organisation for Quality in Victoria and was regarded as one of the pioneers of the Australian Organisation for Quality in Victoria. He wrote and lectured about quality.

It is therefore quite appropriate that this award is named after Joe, as its two-fold purpose is:

  1. To recognise persons who have made a notable contribution to Australian quality practice through publication of an original paper on quality or related topics. and
  2. To encourage AOQ members’ careers in quality, to develop their written communications skills and to disseminate their knowledge of quality technology for the benefit of others.
